I got a question…
I’ve got Photoshop 7.0 - will any of the scripts work?
If so, which ones?
The stuff i’m reading says PS 7.0 is pretty near compliant with CS2…

Hi Daniel,
I’m afraid that we have not created any cover actions that compatible with PhotoShop 7.0 so far. Perhaps in future we will.
Perhaps Photoshop 7.0 and Photoshop CS2 has some similarity but in our case, we use a lot of commands that cannot be read by older version than Photoshop CS2. For example, the difference in layers linking method. Layers linking method for PS 7.0 are similar to PS CS ( version 8.0 ), but differs with CS2, CS3 and CS4.
For some actions that require bending the templates, such as Vista Box, Mac Box and a few of our ring binder cover actions, we use ‘warp’ command which is only available within PS CS2 and newer version but not older version. ‘Shear’ command which is available in PS 7.0 and PS CS ( version 8.0 ) can be used to create similar effect BUT from my experience, it’s difficult if not close to impossible to do so ( if you want to create the exactly same bending effect you see in our Vista and Mac Box cover actions ).
